Hedgerows for Dormice: Help us identify hedgerow highways

Help hedgerow and hazel dormice conservation by volunteering to survey hedges in our “hedgerow highways”. 

Learn to assess hedgerow condition using a modified version of the DEFRA Hedgerow Survey. Morning session includes talks on the history and conservation of hedgerows and hazel dormice. Afternoon practice field session assessing local hedgerows.

Please bring packed lunch, waterproofs and sturdy shoes. Refreshments provided.
