Butterflies

What makes a site good for butterflies? What's so important about bare ground and habitat edges? How can you identify and monitor butterflies? The course provides an introduction to butterfly ecology, identification and natural history. We will use a mix of indoor activities and presentations, plus a visit to one or more sites around Greenham Common. Information will be provided on the 40+ butterflies found in the BBOWT region.
